30 % reservation for women in State Government jobs.

Other Unique Policies

Appointment on Compassionate Ground – Under this scheme, the next of kin of Government Servants belonging to Group C and D category who die in harness are given Government employment. 1298 such appointments have been made till May 2016. Compassionate appointment is also extended to the next of kin of martyrs.

12% horizontal reservation for BPL candidates is provided for filling up of post by direct recruitment in all Government jobs.
